Rules that help us maintain peace and harmony.
These rules are designed to ensure the safety and harmony of our rental homes, the surrounding nature, and your relaxation, so they coexist peacefully. By making a reservation at Girios Horizontas and arriving at our spaces, you confirm that you have read and agree to these rules. If you feel that these rules do not suit you, we kindly ask you to refrain from making a reservation. Every guest arriving at Girios Horizontas agrees to responsibly read these rules and any additional information, which you can also find when making your reservation.

By paying for the reservation, you confirm that you agree to all of our rules. If the reserved time is not fully utilized, no refunds will be provided.
RESERVATION CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULING
Reservations can be cancelled or rescheduled no less than 10 days prior to the arrival date. a 100% refund is possible. after this period, cancellations are not allowed for any reason – including changed plans, illness, or other circumstances. it is possible for others to arrive during your reserved time, but you must inform us in advance. the arriving guests must be familiar with our terms and rules. if the date is rescheduled and the new date has a lower cost, the difference will not be refunded. if the new date costs more, the additional amount must be paid. reservation changes are allowed only once. by making a reservation, you agree that your personal data will be used to process the reservation (according to the terms of the 1997-09-28 agreement on personal data protection).
PETS
We accept your pets. WE ONLY ACCEPT DOGS. Upon paying an additional fee of 10 EUR, you can bring your pets. Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. Pet owners are also responsible for any damage caused by their pets. Only healthy, non-aggressive, and stable animals are accepted. A guest arriving with a pet is responsible for the pet residing at Girios Horizontas and agrees to follow these rules and fully compensate for any damage caused by the pet to the property of Girios Horizontas, the surrounding area, and/or third parties. If a pet is kept in a cabin without prior arrangement, a 100 EUR per day fine will be applied.
GUESTS ARE PROHIBITED FROM
Smoking is strictly prohibited within the Girios Horizontas property. The use of electronic cigarettes, "woops", and similar smoking devices, as well as hookahs, is also prohibited inside the apartments, cabins, house, and sauna.
Loud noise and playing music loudly is prohibited. The Girios Horizontas property is intended for peaceful relaxation, so we kindly ask that you respect the privacy and tranquility of others. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 08:00 AM.
Littering or otherwise damaging the property, cabins, or sauna interior is prohibited.
It is strictly prohibited to invite additional guests or visitors, whether for an overnight stay or a short visit.
Do not swim while under the influence of alcohol or other psychoactive substances.
FIRE SAFETY AND GENERAL SAFETY RULES
Since Girios Horizontas is located in a forested area, any open fire on the premises is strictly prohibited, except in designated fire pits and barbecue areas.
Candles may only be used outdoors under supervision and in appropriate containers. It is not permitted to leave lit candles unattended, even in lanterns.
Candles may be used indoors only in proper candle holders. Leaving lit candles unattended is strictly prohibited.
The fireplace inside the Gintaras House may be used, but only under supervision. It is STRICTLY forbidden to leave the fireplace with an active or smoldering flame unattended. Only firewood may be burned – no other materials or waste are allowed. Always maintain a safe distance from the fireplace.
The use of fireworks is strictly prohibited throughout the entire Girios Horizontas property.
Electrical appliances must be used in accordance with safety regulations.
Do not leave electrical appliances turned on without supervision.
GUEST RESPONSIBILITIES
Guests are responsible for the quality and freshness of the food they bring.
The service provider is not responsible for any injury to the guest or damage to their property caused by their own fault, due to a violation of safety, fire safety, or internal regulations.
Guests are responsible for any accidents that may occur within the Girios Horizontas property or outside of it (inside the apartments, house, or cottage, on the terrace, throughout the premises, while swimming in the lake, during bicycle trips, etc.).
Guests are responsible for any accidents that occur as a result of alcohol consumption.
Guests are fully financially responsible for any damage or destruction to movable and immovable property, as well as valuables, located in the cottages and throughout the Girios Horizontas property. Guests are liable for material damage in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.
Guests are responsible for any damages caused by a fire resulting from their negligence, including damage to the cottages or surrounding areas. They are liable for all losses arising from such incidents.
The items in the apartments, cottages, and house, as well as on their premises, are the property of the estate. Therefore, guests are not allowed to take them when leaving the property.
If you notice any defects or damages, please report them immediately. A fine will be imposed for damaged appliances, long-term, and short-term property, as determined by the Girios Horizontas administration
When arriving with children, ensure their safety. The parents/guardians accompanying the child are responsible for their care and supervision within the property.
When having a picnic outdoors, do not use blankets, towels, duvets, or pillows from the room (unless using them to wrap around yourself).
The Girios Horizontas administrators have the right to ask visitors who do not adhere to the internal rules or cause damage to the property’s infrastructure to leave the premises. In such cases, the reservation fee is non-refundable.
SAUNA SALT RULES
Please arrive at and leave the sauna at the designated time assigned to you, as other guests may be using the sauna before or after your session.
We recommend wearing slippers in the sauna area. Please note that the floors may be slippery.
It is recommended not to consume alcohol during sauna sessions.
Music may only be played during non-quiet hours (from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM).
Used tea cups, wine glasses, or other dishes must be washed and returned to their proper place.
Guests are required to bring their own personal textile items for the sauna (towels, bathrobes, slippers, etc.). Girios Horizontas also does not provide birch brooms (vanta).
SALT IS PROHIBITED IN THE SAUNA
It is prohibited to use your own scrubs, oils, lotions, or other products in the sauna.
Jumping off the pier into the lake is prohibited. The lake is shallow and contains mud.
Smoking (or vaping) is prohibited in the sauna rooms and throughout the entire property.
Making noise is prohibited.
Sauna visitors are fully responsible for their health and safety.
Upon departure, please leave the sauna facilities tidy.
When leaving the sauna, please turn off all lights.
When leaving the sauna, please lock the sauna building door, leave the key in the box where you found it, and lock the box.
Visitors are responsible for any material damage in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. The costs of any damages must be settled with the hosts before departure.
